is it genetic?

the past two evenings i have been scanning old slides taken by my grandfather so that my mum can put together a slide show for his 85th birthday. as i go through the images i feel the need to thank him for inspiring my ma's love of photographing and documenting because she inturn passed the trait along to me. both amazing photographers, thank you zed, thank you kim. here is one of zed's pictures. to see some of kim's check out her blog.
